# Export and hand off

Get the finished files out of InDesign, Figma, Canva or the web app, and pass them on.

Collect the files from a finished run and hand them to whoever needs them.

> **Before you start:**
>
> - The run must have finished. See [Run a campaign](https://withmestra.com/docs/how-to/run-a-campaign/).
> - Each app writes different file types. InDesign writes `.indd` and PNG. Figma writes PNG, JPG, PDF and SVG. Canva writes PNG and JPG, with PDF on request.
> - Web downloads need the file library to be on. An owner turns it on in **Organisation** > **Settings** > **Library** > **Keep exported files**. See [File library](https://withmestra.com/docs/concepts/library/).

1. Check the run's formats. Fix any flagged ones first. See [Fix a flagged format](https://withmestra.com/docs/how-to/fix-a-flagged-format/).
2. Get the files from your app:
   - **InDesign:** the files are already in the folder you chose, in a folder named for each brand's code. You get an `.indd` and a PNG per format. Select **Open in InDesign** or **Show PNG** to open them.
   - **Figma:** select **Download zip · {n} files**. You get `<campaign key>.zip`, with a folder per brand code. The built frames also stay in your Figma file, in a section per brand.
   - **Canva:** in Canva's export dialog, choose **All pages** and **PNG**, then select **Review & download**. For a PDF, select **Export PDF**. You get one zip per brand. Each download link works for 10 minutes.
3. Or download from the web app. Open **Work** > **Runs**, open the run, and select **Download all** for a zip. You can also download a single file from its format.
4. Check the file names. Every app uses `<campaign key>_<brand code>_<format key>_<width>x<height><unit>.<ext>`, for example `sample-campaign_sample-brand_digital-banner_1920x930px.png`.
5. Send the files on. Share the zip, or the folder. If the next person needs to edit, share the `.indd`, or the Figma or Canva design.

The web zip is named `<campaign key>-<brand code>-<run id>.zip`. Inside, each format has its own folder.
