Export your data or close your account

Take your files with you, then end your subscription and close your organisation.

Before you start

• Cancelling needs the Owner role.
• You can download files only if the file library kept them. Formats show “Not kept” if it didn’t.
• There’s no close-account button in the app yet. You cancel, and when your paid period ends your organisation becomes read-only. We delete its data 60 days after that, or sooner if you ask.

1. Open Work > Runs, then open a run.
2. Select Download all for a zip of that run’s files. You can also download single files. Repeat for each run you need.
3. Keep your editable work. Your .indd files, Figma frames and Canva pages are already in your own design tools and folders.
4. Note down your brand, format and campaign settings. The app has no settings export yet. You can read them under Setup.
5. To cancel, open Organisation > Billing, select Manage billing, and cancel there. It takes effect at the end of your paid period. On a trial, skip this step and let the trial end.
6. Your organisation then becomes read-only. You can still sign in, view and download. You can’t start runs or change settings.
7. Mestra keeps your data for 60 days. About 7 days before deletion, we email your owners with the date. On that date we permanently delete your brands, campaigns, formats, settings, logos, run records, library files, invites, app sign-ins and memberships. This can’t be undone.

To have your organisation deleted sooner, email privacy@withmestra.com. For account and audit records, email the same address.

After deletion we keep only what the Privacy Policy describes, such as anonymous usage counts and billing records. Your Stripe invoices and receipts are unaffected.

Subscribing again before the deletion date restores your organisation straight away. Amounts you already owe for a period that has started still apply.

“Not kept” on a format	The library was off, so the files weren’t stored. Take them from your design app.
You can’t find the cancel button	Cancel from Manage billing on the Billing page. Only owners see it.
You want an earlier deletion	Email privacy@withmestra.com.
